| windows XP i think alls i have is nortan firewall 512mb ram not sure on hard disc connection is DSL westell 6100 modem from my apartment Limewire 4.10.0 pro and java 1.5.0_10 Verizon test worked ive never direct connected still shows firewall Nortan anti virus is alls i know of whats a security suite im in the USA |

| It's more than likely the Nat Firewall in your modem/router... Here are your instructions to Port Forward, so you can open a port for limewire to pass through... Port Forwarding for the Westell 6100

| Some modems are modem/routers, two in one... You are still seeing the wall because of the firewall that is built into your modem/router... It wont change your set up at all, it just let's limewire through the firewall, the same way as if you allow limewire through an XP firewall or a Nortons firewall...

| No I wouldn't, it can get a bit difficult trying to turn it off...Just follow the instructions, it's not hard once you get going...
