Default connection probs

Hi there.Have just downloaded limewire.everything seemed fine good connections speed ect.then when i switched off comp and re-connected later it kept saying connecting to network but never did.I tried a few ideas but to no avail.I then removed it and downloaded again and yes fine worked great until i switched off again.Im working on xp home addition and am connected with talktalk smartax882v2 modem ive enabled the comp and modem for upnp connections and windowsxp sp2 firewall is showing limewire ok.does anybody have any ideas could it be static ip address problem and port forwarding as i have all ready tried this when i had shareaza and it did not make any difference to performance.but with limewire i get no connection when i switch back on.shareaza did work but very porly.any help much appreciated.

Your ISP is known for shaping p2p connections...

You could also try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....This may stop you having to re-install limewire each time you want to use it...

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder/s...
