Why are all the quicktime vids in limewire fake why are they even there

Yep, heaps of .mov files are spam/porn but unfortunately LimeWire can't control who shares what & so there are fakes & spam files around.

You could always add .mov to your keyword filter (to filter out these files). Tools > options > filters > keyword will get you to the filter page.
