Why doesn't my email address register at limewire
 

First of all hello to everyone. I am new to this forum. I had joined Limewire back in 2005. This past week my computer crashed and I lost everything in it. I went to the Limewire web site and when I tried putting in my email address it said account didn't exist. I have my original email with my order ID# and receipt for lifetime membership. I tried calling a number given to me by mp3 help desk and no one picks up. All I want to do is reinstall it and I shouldn't have to pay again for it. What can I do?

LW doesn't offer a lifetime membership. What site did you purchase it from?

Up until recently, if you purchased LW Pro it was good for 6 months free updates. Now you can buy "Extended Pro" which is good for 1 year of free updates. After that you have to purchase it again.

It sounds like you were scammed, and even if you weren't you still have to pay again to get Pro. You should have backed up a copy of it to a disc.
