Limewire ive paid but cant get access
 
Hi
I purchased Limewire pro about 9 months ago and have recently got a new pc. i went to download the software again and went to the already bought pro section , it keeps telling me my email is not a valid email with limewire. i have succesfully done this before when i formatted my last pc and had no problems . It is no longer on my old pc and i still have the same email as registered with paypal this being my payment method to limewire.i cant contact them because i need to enter my email and i get the same response im not a limewire customer. It is supposed to be a one off payment for pro. can anyone help as to why im unable to access pro or on how i can contact limewire

its a 6 month subscription..after that you need to pay again

the six months is for free tech support via email and updates it is a one time purchase for the software program and then after 6 months pro purchases have the option to purchase an additional 6 months tech support and updates at a discounted price. but how do u contact them if they say your not a pro user purchaser

look...think about it....and your experience prooves the point...

YOUR 6 MONTH SUBSCRIPTION GIVES YOU ACCESS TO THE DOWNLOAD PAGE FOR 6 MONTHS....end of discussion...

next time remember to save the installer and all updates (which are only new installers, not just update algorithms)

Think about it hmm been using it for 9 or 10 months now have used the downlaod page several times in the last few weeks which is well past six months and not had any problems its not a six month subscription i do know this if you dont genuinely want to give useful advice then please dont bother responding im only after responses from other users that have had the same trouble recently or anyone who might know about subject as i do have several other friends who also have pro and been using it a lot longer than my self and they have never paid more than once and continue to use the download page thanks anyway

i have just discovered this problem today i can get the software from my friends if need be but would still like to know why this has happened to my account and if it has happened to anybody elses

look at the image and get a life...either you have slipped through the cracks with a subscription that should have expired months ago, or you are lying...I'm voting on you're a liar...

we r not talking about EXTENDED LIMEWIRE PRO (YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION) before replying maybe u should no what ur actually talking about instead of being out right rude and making urself look like a fool (perhaps i should post the private messages to show ur intelligence) and once again its a good idea to read the posts properly first instead of making ur own assumptions of the actual question then to argue with me via PM hmm correct solution to someone elses question maybe!!!

Peerless has given you all necessary answers !

Since you don't have a one year subscription you right to upgrade has expired several month ago.

The fact that the system didn't drop you out of the data base (probably due to a system failure while adding the one year subscription) doesn't neglect the fact that your right for upgrades (and re-downloads of the installer exe) has expired.

One more thing, please do not misuse the report button to complain about members (especially not about staff) since this is a considered against the function assigned, thus against the forum rules.

Peerless is right. Up until a few weeks ago (before the option to pay for a year was brought in), Pro from the official site entitled the purchaser to 6 months worth of free updates & email support.

Therefore your right to updates is well & truly over. End of story.
