Default 2 versions on 1 system

Is there any harm in having two versions of Limewire on one system? I installed "Clean Limewire" but I still have Ver1.7.
My ver 1.7 seems to connect better and have more succesful downloads, but I do like the functionality and features of 2.1.2.

I did not want to uninstall 1.7 because my music library in Media Player points to my 1.7 Library. But in 2.1.2, I added my 1.7 library file to share. Does anyone else do this?
