stuck at 12% at opening screen

My computer is stuck at the opening screen (12%(Loading HTML Engine...)). I have been using LW for 2 weeks successfully until this problem came up. I have logged on then off. I have restarted the computer. I have tried to open LW with a different user. Are there any other suggestions short of uninstalling LW and starting over again (unless that is the best course of action)?

Try these fixes if above is no help.

Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder/s...
