Do you have admin privileges on your computer? If not, you'll need to get the admin to make the changes from their account.

I should have admin rights! Its my private PC @ home so I AM the administrator. Any other sugesstions? How do I check this?

From your desktop, go to Start>Control Panel>User Accounts, and it'll list all the accounts and what type they are. Check and see if there are any other accounts on it. Could be your not logged in under the admin account.

Limewire still takes over torrent association once you turn it on tho. It's how the program is designed I think. I tried associating torrent files to Utorrent from Windows and it would work till I used Limewire again.
