hi im new and i cant get any of the videos i find onto my ipod. any ideas?

but the videos are the right file type and they show up in itunes but they wont go on the ipod. theres no error message it just wont work. i got one video to stay on but it went to my podcast folder when i added the file to my library. i honestly have no idea why.
