how do i delete from itunes

hiya, this is my first time and i have only just downloaded limewire. My downloads have auto matically gone in to my itunes but i am unable to delete some i accidently downloaded. Also is there a way to preview the song before i actually download? Thanks.

Are you using Windows? Do you mean that you see a shared 'your name's Limewire tunes' within itunes? If that's the case, it's just a playlist...the files haven't actually been added to the iTunes library. So, to delete files from that playlist, delete from within LW's library or from within your saved folder.

Make sure that you really want the songs deleted...if you delete from LW's library & don't choose the option to send files to the recycle bin - they're gone & you'll need a file recovery program to even attempt get them back!!

If you've actually added the files to iTunes library, just right click > delete.

You can't preview a song before download, you can only preview during the download.

hey thanks yes it is in " my limewire tunes" but the problem is when i right click i just get 4 options "get info, uncheck selection, show in playlist and copy, it does not allow me to delete, i have tried shift delete also.

Okaaay...if you're trying to delete from that playlist it won't work. Because those files aren't actually in the iTunes library.
Did you try to delete the files from LimeWire's library? Or from your saved folder (go to LW's library, highlight a file & then click Explore...saved folder opens)? Just remember what I said about being sure, before you delete files from LW's library.

I tried all the ways explained here to solve the same problem and I cannot delete the files from my itunes.
