Unable to open a saved playlist

I had saved a playlist on my computer and later that night I deleted all the songs that I had downloaded in Lime Wire.

I guess my question is this:

I still have the file that I saved, is there anyway to modify it or fix it so I can open it?

OR

Is the problem that I deleted all the songs and even though I saved the playlist, I still won't be able to open it?

PLEASE HELP ME BEFORE I TRY AND FIX IT AND MAKE THINGS WORSE...

Laura

Any file that you delete from the Limewire Library is gone. Never delete from there unless you want to redownload the file or files again.

If you have a later version of LW, you might check to see if the files went to the recycle bin. If not there then they are gone. :(

A playlist is a simple file with pointers to direct the player where to find the songs. A playlist file itself does not contain music. If the songs have been moved or deleted the playlist won't work anymore. See http://www.gnutellaforums.com/open-d...ry-advice.html about recovering files.
