![]() so basically i had this problem with an older version. so i thought updating to another version would end this problem but it didn't. so yeah, my problem is that i make a playlist and i play it and sooner or later i won't hear anything but it will show the song still playing and the the only way to make it work is to skip to the next song or pause it and then play it but it's getting annoying cuz all i want to do is listen to some music soooo please help me |

![]() Try using another player. The LW player tends to skip, pop, and generally mess up, and is really only good for previewing files. Open LW and go to Tools>Options>Player, untick the box by "Use LimeWire Media Player" > Apply > OK. Your songs will now launch in your default player. I use winamp but there are plenty of others out there. A good backup player is VLC media player, it has the codecs built in and will play most file types.
