Default Music playing too fast

Music playing back too fast. I've looked back through old discussion topics to find a solution to this problem but found nothing. Anybody?

Try a different player. VLC media player has codecs built in and will play most file types. It's good to keep as a back up. Try it and let us know if it helped.

Do you think this will make any difference rather than reinstalling the drivers. Just loaded my old ipod onto this computer and all tracks play fast too.
