could it be a virus?
 

hello out there in limewire land I wander if anyone else has this problem. I have limewire pro and it used to be very fast (cable connection) lately when I download a song it says 10 hosts are giving it but the kb being sent go down like to zero. Could This be a virus? I have mcafee anti virus thanks

It is more likely to be "Bandwidth Shaping", i.e. restricting P2P communication while leaving browser traffic untouched.

There is also another problem that I've just become aware of, the installation of SP2 on your XP O/S can also cause this problem. If this is the cause of your problem then you will need an Internet utililty like TweakMaster to help you.

I find Viruses are usally 277.0mb like when I try to look up any type of videos.
I have been writting down the host that are posting these
Maybe a dose of their own medicine is just what the Dr orderd
