subtitles!!

Hi guys. Is limewire playing up or summat i tried to get into the forum for non-technical stuff, things to do with files but it logged me out and this is the only relevant one i could find after logging back in.

ok, i just need some help with .srt files. i downloaded the *****.srt file from lw but it only burned with my dvd in dutch or flemish or something. even tho my default language is set to english and the sub file is supposed to be english. so i went on a divx subtitle site and downloaded some to try. some saved as numbers (eg 71102) but even changing the name to eg *****.srt didnt work, my converter didnt recognise it or said it had been ignored cos was 'empty...' when a couple of them did finally work they were in the same foreign language!! am i doing something wrong or are all these people coincidentally uploading sub files in dutch?! i am using convertXtoDVD (which is really good) and have lw 4.14.10 windows vista 32bit.

Sometimes the forums act up, probably due to heavy traffic straining the server.

My guess would be that you haven't downloaded the right file. You need the one with english subtitles. Try searching for it on Bitzi.
