Hello Limewire community!
I'm a new user to the forums. Perhaps this topic has been posted before but it warrants a revisit. I believe Limewire has a great future and I am thankful for having access to music I could otherwise not have access to or find.
A real problem exists in that pedophiles are using it to circulate their sicko videos. How can we stop them? There must be a way! Anyone browsing must have seen the sick titles of some of the videos.

It's not LimeWire's fault. It's the disgusting users.

Curiosity question: how can they see the titles of these videos if they weren't searching for them? I've never seen any porn titles pop up at random.

viewing porn is not illegal....and cp results will pop up in regular searches for porn

i agree with garbage fan2, limewire cant stop it....whoever uses limewire shares their stupid files over the net.....whilst renaming them to a song title or movie title

:mad:I have also come across some sicko videos on here and one was trying to download a move called wild hogs with Tim Allen and John Travolta, it even listed their names. When I played the "movie" it was actually some girl stripping on what looked to be a web cam and then my pc automaticly accessed the web and went to a porn site. I would love to know how to stop this from happening again.

SO i have read all of these things, and still have not come to any solid conclusion. If a person downloads kp on purpose or by accident, just once, and doesn't delete it from the shared folder until a little later, then deletes it, what happens? Is this person have a reason to loose sleep at night, do only those sickos who down load like alot of kp get traced? And one more thing...if kp carries such a big risk to traffik why would somone in their right mind put it on Limwire for filesharing, knowing that they are at risk? Or do people just tag plain old legal porn with tags like ...preteen, illegal, pedifile, ****, ect. just to get people to download the video, which does not make sense because it carries no monetary value, unless there being totally random pricks? ....I guess im looking for a straight up answer... 1. "ex." Billy BoB by accident or on purpose downloads a file claiming to be kp, then erases it, and never does that again will Billy Bob get visited by the Feds? ( because every curious sob out there sane or perverted would be locked in jail, not to mention the people who download it on accident) 2. Why would people upload kp onto limewire knowing that they could get caught and there is no real gain in doing it?( or do pricks think its funny to label regular porn with tags pulling the believer to belive it real kp, when its no sort)

So in their (Peto's) effort to join us in to their preverted ways they feel they have to show us just where and why they get their rocks off. This, in hope that we become as preverted as they are. I started a search for edited to not spread the 'knowledge' songs for my six year old daughter, and all of the first few results had the edited to not spread the 'knowledge' name plus girl gets raped or horny added in the title somewhere. I think it's just wrong to add that to kid's stuff, let alone actual pedo pics and vids! The only immediate hing I could do was to use the junk button. There should be more options available.:bangh:

I use my filter and put words that might be used. Like F***, A**, Suck, I've eliminated a tone of words that would be used no place else except for porn.
I feel, if you are married Porn porn is usesful. After the tenth year the newness wears of and porn could stere up the labito. But for singles, it could be devistating. And besideds, you aren't doing a search for it, you are being subjected to it by idiots..as the British call them by "WANKERS"
Man...I I have to screen and filter. At 63 my blood presure goes up and after attacking my husband..his goes up also. :)

I just sent two of the wav files posted on the Limewire with infant porn. One person was from Ohio the other from Norway.
Yes it is that easy to find the MFs.

If you do a simple search like i did looking for CHILDRENS songs the porn crap came up mixed in with all the good stuff. I did not open that crap I just sent it to the FBI.

It's unfortunate, but the web is open to everyone with no discretion criteria. I believe those who display and distribute pornography in any form are trying to get your attention. It's been said a great defense is a good offense. Don't pay any attention to them. If they don't have an audience to play to there's no reason for them to exist.
I've gotten some interesting search results and I use the Limewire filters to keep out unwanted material. If something gets through to your system, don't even open it. Delete it immediately then filter it out.
We may not be able to stop the sickness but we don't have to give it any attention either.

I'm not entirely sure pedophile would be the right word for people doing this. That word implies a sexual preference for people who haven't started puberty. We don't know people uploading this have that. They might just believe in free media, and might just be recirculating stuff they found elsewhere. Or they might be out to terrorize people with information, which judging by how upset everyone gets, obviously works to some degree.

This is a psychiatric term and by definition it means, "sexual desires in an adult for a child". Pedophiles are, by nature, predatory. All contact should be avoided. These are very bad people.
