Default can't preview avi files in limewire

hey every body
all videos in avi format can't be viewed with any player type either whilr downloading nor after complete downloading
every time i try to play these files i have format not supported message
but the older movies on my hard acting well
it seemes that only the movies downloaded with limewire have this proplems
i have k-light codex installed also i tried divx and so many codecs without any hope
plz help

You could also try another Media Player. VLC Media Player. Has codex built in. See Link below. It's Highly Recommended on the Forums.

i tried vlc and the same error continues appearing for all avi formate
"this file formate is not supported....."
i uninstalled limewire and no change i feel crazy plz help

Are you checking the files with Bitzi?? Bitzi is a site where other Hosts Rate the quality of the files. If you are not using Bitzi, the possibility of the files that you have downloaded are fake is very High.

VLC will play just about anything and this is the reason I have a feeling they maybe Fakes.
