I'm new and lost!!!
 

Hi everybody,

I've just discovered Limewire and installed it. My first song is coming in very slowly and I have a feeling that I selected the wrong speed. I selected cable/dsl but I have broadband/adsl. Is that the same and if not, how can I go in and change it in the setting?

I don't think you are having a problem with the connection speed you setup in Limewire. There are a whole host of difficulties connecting computers. Sometimes I watch the speed of the uploads and they are very very slow even though I have good to excellent signal strength with my dsl connection. Other times the uploads are superfast. Go figure. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it.
