Maybe I Just had too much time and coffee? About 2 yrs ago I started using Limewire, after everything else seemed virus ridden, corrupted, or half missing. whatever. After using Limewire for abit I thought why not pay "The One Time Fee " of 21 bucks. The small print telling me it was only good for 6 mos must have been really small cause I thought it was a one time shot...sigh. gawd I feel irritated... I wish ppl would at least acknowledge that I was Scre@$# after scre@#4 me. My point is, I don't mind paying the bit extra to receive a quick fix to some problems, if Only I didn't have to sit here, for over an hr deleteing Virus Ridden files! Out of 27 downloads I had to delete 27 downloads and still haven't found what I'm looking for. I wish they'd use a fraction of the money they rip out of subscribers hands and pay someone to clean up their data base. I doubt it though........... silicone valley is awaiting them tonite. P.S. I guess I should have said hello first. Hello people:) |
I get your frustration. Let me ask you an obvious question. Do you have installed and running on your computer a comprehensive anti-virus software package, and do you run it daily? Sometimes we forget that virus protection is not automatic and some minor setup changes could help. Good luck. |
right clixor on search results and choose bitzi lookup to garner information about a specific file |
What's bitzi? This is all so new to me and a little overwhelming. There is a brand new computer language/slang I'm trying to wrap my head around. Sometimes it feels like I'm just starting first grade. There is so much I don't know about the programs I have on my own computer and I've forgotten all the shortcuts. Sometimes it's a real struggle to get even the simplest thing accomplished. Thanks for the info. |
