HELP with locating my downloaded songs!

Hi all, I am a newbie to Limewire and have searched Google and here in these forums for hours trying to figure out how to transfer my songs from limewire to my itunes for my Ipod! Yes, I know I've done many searches here and found many many many ways to do it..... I have tried it all BUT the problem is I dont think the songs I download are saving. When I am in "saved files" I click "explore" so i could see all my mp3's to drag over to Itunes. The problem is there are no MP3's there. Its a bunch of other stuff. I've seen some informed posts by "Lord Of the Rings" , maybe he can help! Thank you all so much in advance!!!
