Playing downloaded movies on home DVD

 Hi, can anyone help a novice. Having dowloaded a movie and then burning it to a DVD it wont play properly in my home DVD player/recorder. The picture is fine but there is no sound. Picture and sound are fine on my DVD player of my computer.

I'm not sure, I could never get them to even burn onto a DVD. You could click on my link below for some extra money though, lol. With the extra money I get from them I can afford to just buy movies. :)

Which program are you using for the DVD transformation? Make sure that the Audio streams of the *.avi file you're trasforming are included in the transformation.

Power Producer v4

Since OP says the DVD will play fine on his computer, it sounds more like a DVD-Player problem than a problem burning the Audio. Other then that I really have no idea.

Maybe post

Audio Format of original file

Make and model of DVD player

BTW check also if PowerProducer converts the audio or just transfers it
