Burning Help Please

While Nero is burning the movie file to the disc after transcoding the file it will eject the disc with this statement "Disc is not empty. Please insert an empty disc (the disc i used was brand new) You will not need to transcode again if you cancel the recording now, unless you change the project data afterwards" I've put in a new disc and it ejects it and when I cancel it aborts the burn. What does all of this mean?????

Personally I think Nero SUCKS. You can try the step by step here by Sleepless. Hope this helps. :D

http://www.gnutellaforums.com/images/misc/paperclip.gif http://www.gnutellaforums.com/images...subscribed.gif Making a DVD Video using Nero 7 Premium (http://www.gnutellaforums.com/images/misc/multipage.gif 1 2)

You can also Google "nero disc is not empty", and get several forums disscussing this issue

nero disc not empty

Thanks for the info. I read everything and change some settings. Nero still ejects the disc. I also tried Power2go and it did the same thing. Used a different movie file and power2go burn it without ejecting it. I guess Nero does suck should I buy a new burning program? Thanks for anymore advice.

I use this. Check it out or there are several other options out there.

AVSMedia :D I use the Audio Tools, Video Tools, and DVD Copy

Thanks for the info. I think I will get a new burner and stop trying to use Nero. So all I will need is AVS Media--Video Tools software right?

Yes, if thats all that your interested in. I made the mistake by not buying the Bulk Offer. I just wanted to try the Video Tools to see how it was going to work, as I had bought and tried two other programs prior to AVS and they were no good. When I tried the Video Tools and it worked perfectly I then wished I would have bought it all. Its much cheaper to buy the bulk offer. Later I purchased the Audio Tools and DVD Copy.
Good Luck. :D

nero

ok Nero came with my computer and I just checked to see the version I have I went to add/remove programs and I have nero suite nero vision express 3. I'm sure this is to old of a version. I'm new to burning and I just want to get the software that will burn all file types. I have been reading so much about converting files and so on. Guess i'm getting confused. I just want one program to do it all. Thanks so much for your advice.:laugh_2:
