New computer, lost Pro info
 
I bought Limewire Pro over a year ago.

Well, I bought a new computer. (Vista)

I downloaded Limewire and have used it as it was. Today I cannot get it to connect. I have tried several things. It keeps asking me to update. I have tried without success... BUT that is not my issue.

I cannot get the update to work... NOR can I get "pro" to activate. HOW can I get my "pro" privileges on my new computer? It does NOT recognize my email address, which is one I have had for a very long time. I bought Pro with a credit card so it should be on file. OR do I need to purchase it again... I'm sure they would LOVE that! hahahaha

Help me ObiWan.

Your Pro has expired. You'll need to purchase it again if you want to update to the latest Pro version. If you update it without repurchasing, you'll get the Basic version not Pro. So don't update unless you want the Basic version.

Vista has it's own set of problems when it comes to connecting. Try going through the stickies in this section of the forums: General Vista Support - Gnutella Forums

Thank you very much... I was afraid of that. I love limewire so I'll have to do that as soon as I can.
