registered identity?
 

what is a registered identity and how do I access it? My operating system is Microsoft Windows XP version 2002. I assume I have a number for MSN Messenger Handle but not sure and don't know what this is.

You may enter your registered identity for the instant messaging networks if you would like other visitors to be able to contact you using that medium.

These are Messaging Clients. Generally these have to be downloaded and an Account set up before use. These Clients offer Many different Services and Features other than just IM. To learn more you could do a Google Search on them to find out exactly what each one offers. Hope this Helps :D
