Why this porn?

Why, every time I search for a song, at the top of the list it comes up, (song)cute girl has orgasm on webcam?

Also, how can I find out the extension on the files I am downloading on limewire?

Thanks for any help.

Try using the Keyword Filter.

keywords-filter

The File extensions should be visible in the search results under Type. If its not there, Right click the Info Bar and click Type.

Thank you so much, Remoc! That will certainly help.

I have another question: I copied all my music from the Limewire folder to a folder in My Docs called My Music, and instructed Windows Media Player to search for them there. Now I can't play them! Not even with the Limewire player. They seem to be playing, but I can't hear anything (sound works elsewhere).

Was that a mistake?

See This Link by Birdy. This will help explain how and where the saved/shared folders need to be.

If you've updated LW and can't find your downloads!

Files in the LW Library are Playlist Files and thats probably why they won't play. The real files are on your HDD.

Thank you, Remoc. That certainly helps.

What is HDD please? Are you referring to the hard drive? Also, can you tell me the difference between "playlist files" and real ones? And why "playlist" files won't play? Or point me to a place where I can learn about this type of file?

I do so appreciate your help. :gimmimore:

HDD refers to Hard Disk Drive.

Some videos in searches may have HD or HDD beside them referring to High Definition, which of course after shrinking means they might not be high definition any longer, depends on particular file.

Playlists files are simply a document type of file which lists the names of songs, etc. with pointers to tell the player where to find them. The actual Playlist file itself does not contain music.

Thank you, LOTR. I understand now that my "My Music" file just lists the names of songs. However, all my titles show up in the LW library, and also in the Media Player library. I also have them on a CD. For some reason, I don't have a "Shared" file in my Name/My Documents folder. I have searched for a couple of the song titles but nothing turned up.

I was able to play 30 + - seconds of a song in Media Player, and they played while I was uploading them to Media Player. Now, I can't hear anything. MP also uses "Playlists," but I believe that's just for grouping songs, though I might be wrong.

If the document file that lists the songs has pointers to direct the player where to find the actual music, where are they pointing? Is there any way to find out?

NOTE: I have achieved sound on MP, and want to thank you guys for helping. I learned some things from this thread.
