LimeWire: can I find a specific friend's music

I have a friend using LimeWire Basic. If we both upgrade to LimeWire Pro, will we be able to find each other on LimeWire and share music together?

How to Direct Connect, Browse & Chat

This is a rather OLD Link but it should give a clue. Basically both of you need to have chat enabled, you can't be blocked by a Firewall and you need to know their IP address. Hope this helps. :D
