Files go to Individually Shared Folder I didn't know where to post this so please move it to where so, When I download a song on limewire, it doesn't go to my shared files. It goes to Indivually shared files or some other folder. How do I configure it to go straight to my Shared files and section on limewire? Here's a screenie what I get right when I go on Limewire's Library Tab. http://i25.tinypic.com/e6uhc3.jpg |
it does not go to your shared folder but saved folder check where it is being sent by going into tools option then check your files |
C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\LimeWire\Shared is written under: You can choose the folder for saving files: That's what you mean? |
In addition to what Irenec said, this might be another option to explore. Quote:

Go to Tools > Options > Saving. Click Use Default (upper right corner) |
Now it's going to Saved, all my other things are in Shared, some other are in Indivually Shared, others are are another Shared file, and some are in Saved.... :S lol I need them all in shared |

hi you can send your downloads to any folder you want just change in limewire tool options general and send where you like and check that you are sharing that folder otherwise limewire will not read it hope this helps |
Does anyone know how to make limewire not open when I turn my laptop on? |
You can choose whether or not to allow Limewire to run each time your computer starts up. Go to 'Tools'. Go right to the end of all the options and click on 'Advanced'. Go to 'System Startup'. UNCLICK to top right hand box ("Run On System Startup"). Click on 'Apply' and your problem is solved. JohnH2008 (UK) |
Advanced setting blocks out all the options so you can't click them, there is only one which is.. Quote:

if you are on xp on your computer go to start, run, type in msconfig click ok, go to selective start up look for limewire untick then click apply then ok that will stop it good luck |
