LimeWire changes my screen resolution - How do i stop this and lock it ? - A FIX every bloody time i sign on to limewire the pixels change to lg format how do i stop this and lock it it doesnt do it on any other but limewire :shoot: |
I'm not currently using LimeWire but I sure do know about a lot of the problems ! So, the following first bit may not be 'verbatim'... But, I'm sure you'll work it out. The problem is only a simple configuration ! Good news, hmmm ? In LimeWire got to Preferences > "Compatibility" tab > "Settings" > Uncheck mark "run on 640 x 480 screen resolution (or whatever) > Apply desired resolution settings > Restart your computer > Start LW WHY this option is incorporated into LimeWire is way beyond my imagination ! :cantseeyou: Hope it helps... As I said, the above is not necessarily the exact wording that will appear but it's more than close enough ! Last for now, be sure to check out > http://www.gnutellaforums.com/window...ng-should.html Hope it helps ! |
pixes i cant find the preferences anywhere on lime wire absolutly nowhere |
on your desktop locate the LW icon/shortcut....right clixor it...choose properties...choose the compatibility tab...then follow the above directions about running in that resolution.... |
