gooood morning Limewire (lost files in library)

I am an occasional user and have been for awhile. I had never had any problems untill about three months ago. One day I came in got on the site and my library was gone. A message came up and said something about configuring my files instead of bringing up the library. I don't remember doing anything different before that log on that could have changed anything. I have tried everything I can think of to locate my files (mostly music videos) to no avail. I don't claim to be wiz at computer stuff so there may be a simple solution . If I have just missed something simple and you can help me get my files back, I thank you, and feel free to call me stupid.
