How do I connect to Limewire?
 

I downloaded Limewire last night and once I did that I tried a search. It said that it may not show many results as I am still connecting to Limewire. I left my computer on all last night and still have not connected yet. Is there any way that I can do this or how long does it normally take? :confused:

Dear Administrator, I am new here and trying to find my way around your site. Need some giudance please. Also I have been using Limewire for past several months with much success, then last week a message appeared on my screen 'THIS VERSION OF LIMEWIRE IS SERIOUSLY CORRUPTED AND NEEDS TO CLOSE, PLEASE EXIT AND REINSTALL NEW VERSION' I have done exactly as described, but cannot download the new version, can anyone help please?

Should only take a two or three mins to connect.Hmm Who's your Isp that you are going through.And what is your version of Lw and Java.And what kinda Anti-virus protection do you have.This stuff will helps use find out what is happening.Oh and what kinda router are you useing.

Did you delete all files that came with Limewire.Like java and limewire folders.

btw - In future, be sure to always come here to the forums to check on any update info re: Lifewire updates. Do this BEFORE you download or try to install any updates from LW.

See the post above about uninstalling and reinstalling Limewire after updating (You probably want to look at the dark blue one first)...
