Search Window shows no items

Hey, I also just installed Limewire, and I did search on a sertain band, but when it was done searching there was resualts for 200 or more bands. But on the search tab none of the band names or songs were on there. Help! can I fix this?? thanks:confused:

Well I am using the newest version 2.2.1. But I just found out about limewire, so I never actually upgraded I just downloaded it a few days ago. Hope this helps.

No Results from Search!

There are people scattered all over this forum with this problem!

2.2.1. Pro, Win2k, DSL, green light on connection, 4 to 6 connected hosts (going in and out of ultrapeer), traffic in and out past the firewall, got the "Gnutella Ok" after the telnet exercise,...

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling....and yes, read the FAQ and the 'manual'. Even stuck some stuff to share in the "Shared" folder to appease the ultrapeer gods, and still, nothing.

My friend who recommended Limewire uses the free version and has had no problems. He's baffled why I'm having trouble.

Should I ask for my money back and use the free version?
