Question Error

i am recieving an error when trying to delete certain files from my library. it is saying:

The following files could not be deleted. They may be in use by another application or are currently being downloaded to.

neither of these are the case. any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

p.s. i'm not the most computer savvy person.. but i can follow directions..
