Importing From Scanner to Adobe / possible ?

Hello people, hope all is well and life is good

I recently updated to adobe 8 and hadn't done any scanning since as such today I find out that when I ckick on print it does not give the me the option to edit in a adobe format. My question is weather things have changed with adobe 8.1, Im useing a HP 300 printer. I have a resume that I want to edit In an adobe style. I belive that mabe I've forgotten How to do it or I'm just plain stupid. Ha Ha Haaa, I thankyou for your feed back.

You may need to adjust your printer settings. I am not sure about on windows, but save as pdf options are double-fold on mac. Go to print, choose particular printer & choose Adobe PDF as printer (or in Page Set up to choose adobe) or as in case on mac, on the print options there's also a drop down menu to save file as pdf. Don't forget if you have upgraded to 8 from 7 then your previous settings for 7 might still be default & since 7's support files will be no longer ... it won't work, so be sure to make sure the setting is for v.8.

I can open an image up with most programs & either save as pdf (if the program supports it) or definitely save as pdf under Print window.

I can't answer about the scanner since mine is so old & is connected to old computer with old system, & program versions, etc. lol :D
