Ok i am about to give up useing limewire i am sick of mark thousands and thousands of file as junk because limewire seem to have been TAKING OVER BY VIRUSES this needs to be fixed and soon. This isnt helped by hundereds of people who are dumb enough to download these files and spread them even more.

Anyone know of a better P2P program? i know bearshare dosent have this many viruses but you cant download programs.

now that was an ignorant post....LW and BS both use the same network...GNUTELLA...and of course BS can download ANYTHING on the network...well, maybe not the 'new' fake versions...anything after about v5.2 is bogus...

thats why i have the newer one from about 1-2 months ago from the bearshare website it dont have an option to search programs

I don’t think limewire is all that bad. Ive downloaded plenty of songs and only have had 4 that did not work which I stopped sharing. Of course maybe you are downloading more than just songs and this could be part of your virus program. Oh and Bearshare was taken over by the RIAA and cant be used anymore. for programs and other large files try Mininova : The ultimate BitTorrent source! or Download music, movies, games, software!
