Hello everyone. Yes I am a newb and this is my first post. I've just started using limewire and I'm a little concerned about sharing licensed mp3's because I know your isp can track all your downloads. I guess my question is does anyone really care? It seems like alot of people just carelessly download as much music as they want and never get into any trouble.

Try Gnutella Forums - Search Forums & type in legal or illegal or copyright, etc. :)

Well i'm ready to uninstall limewire after doing some research but If I hypothetically downloaded a ton of copyright protected music already and now I don't want to get caught would it help to change my ip address. Or is there anything else I can do to make sure the mpaa or fbi or whatever doesn't come after me. I know its not likely that I will get fined but its just not worth the risk to me. Thanks in advance.
