Cannot mark as junk

I have clicked "Forget training data" in junk filter and selected "Show junk at bottom of the list".

In searching, I have selected "Show all qualities and speeds".

However, no junk files are listed and I cannot mark a file as junk when I highlight it.

Also, the right click option "Mark as...." is greyed out.

Am I missing a setting?

You clicked "Forget training data", so it forgot all it's training. It won't mark anything as junk until you mark it first.

Next time if you see "Good" files being marked as "Junk", right click on them and mark them as "Not Junk".

I am aware that clicking "Forget training data" will cause junk not to show.

I know I have to remark files as junk - but I can't.

My question was, why are the Junk Dustbin icon and the "Mark as...." options greyed out?

I have just realised what's happening - it's my mistake!

The "Mark as...." and Junk Dustbin options are greyed out if I do a non-specific search, i.e. "What's New".

If I do a specific search, i.e. enter keywords or song titles, then the options ARE available.

However, I don't understand why you cannot mark something as junk in "What's New".

If you see a file that's supposed to be a well-known song by a well-known singer/band and it's only 15.3KB, then it's obviously junk and you should be able to mark it as such.

junk filter not working

Hi,
I hope I am in the right place to pose this question.
I find that when I download music tracks that I get replies with a high source count that have no "bit rate" but are flagged up as a previously genuine download (left hand column green tick on white background) I have tried to mark these as junk but all that happens is a mometary "flicker" on the screen and the green tick is still there. As this happens on nearly every occasion I open LW it is getting to be a pain in the a****.
Any help would be appreciated as I really like LW

Keep an eye out for these files: Virus thread: Typical virus spam file sizes - Make a note of them (click on blue link to see).

The Green tick signifying you have previously downloaded the file shows up on some Junk files ... duped LW into thinking you have already downloaded the file.

cannot mark as junk

Hi lord,
Thank you for replying, the info is of great help, why are some people bent on spoiling things for everyone? My sytem is well protected By Z. A. & Spyware Doc. and is swept every week, so these evildoers are not going to have much luck with me.
Regards,
