connection to limewire I downloaded the new limewire after uninstalling the old one. I never have had problems before but I cannot connect for the past 2 hours. I have DSL, Windows XP, the Gnutella client I do not know. I have tried everything and cannot connect. I am not behind a firewall. Help! |

With the new version, it's probably best your delete the previous LW preferences folder; try deleting your LW Preferences folder whilst LW is closed; instructions here: Point #2 & 3 in Fixes for Limewire (sample image included at bottom of page.) BUT, make a note of all your option settings first before you do this. ie: go to LW's menu bar, Tools > Options & check the settings. Then close LW & do the above. If that doesn't fix it, see http://www.gnutellaforums.com/connec...t-connect.html |
