problem file (downloaded infected .exe file)

dear sir(s),
I seem to have downloaded a virus from limewire that has kidnapped my browser, shut down my windows update and basically stopped me from using the internet. I disconnected my desktop until I can figure out how to clean it. I was looking for a honda repair manual in documents when it happened. My anti virus warned me there was an .exe file however, I allowed it to download and it infected my system very quickly. As I said it was attached to a document file named honda and I believe it may be called mrofinu1000106.exe. I hope this will get the attention of limewire's tech dept. so they can remove it before it affects some one else's system. I will help them any way I can to identify and eliminate it.
sincerely teemaster.

Hmmm, Lw has nothing to do with all of the infections that are going around.
The Gnutella Network is the culprit, as any member can put anything and everything they want to, on the Network.
If you would have taken a few hours and Read these Forums, You would know that Downloading Programs, Games, and Images off of the Gnutella Network is Extremely Dangerious.
Well I guess you found out for your self.
Here, I hope is something that will help you Rid your computer of this Infection. Good Luck!!

mrofinu1000106.exe - Program Information

One more thing...Why do you have an Antivirus Program ?? It sounds like it did exactly what it is designed to do, and what do you do ?? WOW!! This is just, well, you fill in the blanks. _ _ _ _ _ _

My allowing it to download is irrelevant at this point. The point is it exists and is a threat at this moment. It executed itself automatically after downloading. Does anyone out there have a relevant response, and or suggestion as to how to disinfect my computer. How about a way to communicate to limewire so they can eliminate the threat? I know their policy states they will not knowingly allow .exe files.
