Need help transferring songs from limewire to Ipod

Need help. It says in the help menu that when im in Itunes, i click on the songs i want from my shared limewire folder and drag and drop. It wont let me drag any of the songs over. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? It seems as though all the songs in my shared folder are locked and all i can do is play the song. Thanks for your help

That's NOT how to properly transfer files to iTunes music library; see How to transfer music to my iPod (& iTunes) {click on link}

Since iTunes 7.7 the LW Shared Library has not been compatible with iTunes.

How to make a playlist within limewire

In the past i was able to go to my library, select the songs that i want and hit the button "Enqueue" to make a playlist. For some reason Enqueue is no longer an option i can select as it wont let me select it. Is there another way of making a playlist within limewire, or is one of my settings causing me not to be able to select enqueue? Thanks again for your help

I believe files need to be 'shared' to be able to add to enqueue now. Right-click file & choose share file. Also, from memory your LW media player needs to be active, if you disabled it then the playlist function may not work.

i just checked and my songs are shared and still the enqueue button is greyed out (wont let me select it). Any other suggestions? Thanks

Are you sure the LW media player is enabled? Go to Tools > Options > Player & see whether it's checked. I don't recommend doing this very often as it stresses LW, but try pressing the Refresh button.

You were right. It wasn't checked....Really appreciate your help and fast responses...im able to create playlists now....

Itouch help

Help with Wifi. I connect to the network using my itouch, but for some reason it keeps saying cant find the server. It just stopped working all of a sudden. Any idea how to correct this problem?

Lord of the Rings October 19th, 2008 01:31 PM

Sounds like a wifi issue. Is there a reset option? If yes try resetting it. Wifi is not super reliable generally speaking & cannot handle high volume connections & bandwidth too well compared to normal connections.

Wifi

I tried powering off, then resetting but still cant find the server. Its odd, it was working for months then all of a sudden it said can't find server. Not sure if you would know but there is a new update version for my itouch, do you think if i install the new version, it would correct the problem? The new version only costs $10 but only want to install if it will correct the wifi problem..
