Under tools i unchecked the box that automatically clears finished downloads. i thought it would be neat to see which of my files were uploaded. anyhow when i look at my upload log under the "monitor section" it will list many of the files as complete but under teh progress section only say 7% or 50%. my question is why would it say the upload is complete if only 7% or 68% got uploaded. the only thing i can think of is that they already had part of the file downloaded...

because, as you noted, you were not the only source for the file...the % displayed was your contribution to the downloaders total effort...
