LW license for DJ use?

can limewire legally be used for dj use and can a licence be obtained from limewire I live in the UK and am trying to find out which version i need.

Using LW doesn't give you permission to download any copyrighted material... so there is no license. Using LW is not illegal, but downloading of copyrighted material may be - depending on your local laws.

I was told that limewire 360 could be used with a licence for legal downloads for dj use. I wont download to i get the limewire official view but can seem to get that until i subscribe. I am in the UK any help. If not i will return to my original source.

360 is a known Scam version of LimeWire. They will promise anything to get your money. Known Scam Sites (click on link). Any site that advertises free downloads, millions of songs & videos & games is a scam site. Especially when they claim it is legal. Legality as Birdy suggested depends on your own country's laws. Using the program does not give licence. I can assure you 360 do NOT pay any licencing fees to the music, video or games industries to make it legal.

And remember also, the files you download are shared (uploaded) by people like yourself, the files are not downloaded from a central server. Gnutella network is P2P, sharing between people.

LimeWire Basic is FREE.

If you bought from another site, you were scammed. You either paid for a free LW or paid for a LW Pro that you'll never be able to update.
