upgrading
i'd like to update my version of LW. can someone please tell me whether or not to uninstall my previous version before doing so?

You don´t really need to uninstall it. If there are problems with installing directly, uninstall and reinstall.
Btw: In another thread is a link to Limewire1.7c That is the version you should upgrade to. Why? Look at the other threads for an answer.
