Song Indicates Previously Downloaded as a duplicate Just recently when searching by song or artist, the first one that shows up in the list is marked as previously downloaded. The name of the artist and song are the ones I am searching for, but when you download a dialogue box comes up saying I have already downloaded that song, and it gives me a completely different song, but everytime, it is the same song, and the same file size. Anyone have any comments? Thanks |
ridichuk, Welcome to the forums. ".. and it gives me a completely different song, but everytime, it is the same song" What??? http://www.gnutellaforums.com/gettin...-limewire.html |
Example: I search for artist A. The first song on the list shows the previously downloaded icon, but I know i haven't downloaded it. I click to download and a dialogue box comes up, saying something like, "you have previously downloaded this song as "Billy Idol, Dancing With Myself". When this happens with another song, it gives the same info, including the song name. Its always the same song and same artist, Billy Idol, Dancing With Myself. |
I think you may have previously downloaded a bogus song and are seeing copies of it appear under different names. Are these other songs you select the same filesize? |
I am having the same problem, 3 or 4 songs from the search list have the completed downloading icon and i get the same message "already downloaded" also with the wrong name on the error message |
Hey bikki4, I have the same problem as you. Have you figured out what the problem is? |
