TBI, LimeWire downloads, turn corrupt???

TBI, June 8, 2003. Trying to continue my love of music, I use a 1.73 laptop, DSL connection for LimeWire. My operating system is Vista. Seconds, after good downloads, files enter Library as RED or CORRUPT file. No message. The sound seems to be unharmed, in LimeWire, and Windos Media player. Please, give baby steps, to make recovery.

101 Thank you's

Red files in your library aren't corrupt - they're just not being shared:)

To share the file, right click on it & then you'll see the option to share file. Click on share file. If the file doesn't change to black right away, refresh the page (using the refresh icon at the top of your browser) or else restart LW.

If a file's corrupt... you'll see a message during download telling you that the file is corrupt. Then you have the choice of going on with the download or killing the download;)

Thank you two, very quick responses. Another individual told me red ones signified corrupt. Nonetheless, superb, timely responses.

Heartfelt thanks,
Jason
