How to play songs in "random" order

I just got Limewire 5 and moved all my songs onto the playlist under "my library." The old Limewire version had an obvious option to play songs in a random order instead of sequentially. Does this option exist on Limewire 5? If so, how do you do it?

AFAIK there's no playlist function in LW 5 yet.

I don't know. I just downloaded Limewire5 and the playlist says limewire5 at the top. I moved all the songs into the default playlist. The old version had an obvious place to click. The new one doesn't have that option.

Maybe you're confusing My Library or P2P Network (that you see in LW's sidebar) with a playlist?

You can play songs one at a time from within My Library & P2P Network, by right clicking > play.
But you can't build a playlist of songs & have them play in order or in shuffle mode... it's just not part of LW 5 yet. The link that I gave you in post #2 is from the forum where LW's developers post... maybe the next version will have a playlist feature

Hi there it was great hearing from you guys! Lord of the rings you have been a great help, Birdy i appriate your link to lime wire too. it sounds to me like we may all become great friends.

I hope to hear more from all of you. It makes me feel better to know that im not the only one to have computer problems.
