Communicatio problems/ID problems (limewire denied me entrance as a paying customer)

Hello,
I have purchased limewire pro. I am using windows XP.
I bought this download through limewire I thought. When I went to looking for answers concerning connections problems, I found I also had another problem. The problem I found was that I could not be found as a paying customer of limewire? When I bought this program i filled out all the necessary forms, I thought, and payed by credit card. When I went to sign up in the forum, limewire denied me entrance as a paying customer and I am now here in the free forum trying to get to the root of my problem. I have sent limewire a copy of my bill and I have never recieved a response back from them? I wonder why? is it because there are other problems? I assume i was mislead into a pirated deal.

I just want my service to work or a refund. I just cannot seem to get limewire to send me any messages back.

I guess you mean that your email address isn't being recognised by LW?

Where did you buy LW from? Who's the vendor on your CC statement?

Pro costs $21.95 for 6 months of updates & email support, $34.95 for 12 months of updates & support & sometimes there's a special offer of Pro for $13.95 with no updates or support included.

Your email address will only be recognised in the official database while your Pro's current- if you bought Pro for 6 months, your email address stays in the database for 6 months, if you bought Pro for a year then your email address stays in the database for a year. After that, your email address is removed from the database & you can't download free updates any more.

If you paid a scam site for Pro then you won't ever be able to update from the official site.

After you bought Pro, you would have got an email from LW with a link to your Pro personal download page. Have a look through your emails & see if you can find it. If your Pro's still current then you can use that link to download another installer. If you bought from the official site, LW will send you an email telling you when your Pro's about to expire

I'm not sure what you mean about the forums... there's a LW forum (click on link): LimeWire Forums which is solely for LW.
And this forum, which is a forum for gnutella clients in general, rather than just for LW. You don't have to be a Pro user to post on either forum.

Check through your browser history to back-track to which site you actually paid the money to for LW. You can also check your Credit Card details to see who you actually paid. It should have been Lime Wire LLC.
