What happens if you just use LW's search to look for files? Can you download from there?

Yeah, the LW store doesn't work for Australia.

Which version of LW are you using? Have you used other older versions before?

Is LW properly connected to the network (all green/blue connection bars)?

Thankyou for your replies. I have not used the computer for several days so I thought I'd give Limewire another go before I contacted you again, LO & BEHOLD, it works !!! Don't know how or why, fingers crossed that it doesn't play up again. Moya
