Count me in as someone who HATES LW5.*-- I decided to give it another shot and after 2 days of utter hair pulling, I went back to 4.18.8.
Why try to reinvent the wheel?!? I found LW5 VERY user un-friendly after using previous versions. Sure the older ones had their quirks but I got used to them--in 5, it's a total cluster F
All that needed to be done was incorporate the new stuff within the old stuff and put a new 'paint job' on it, NOT try and make it 'sparkly' and 'spiffy' with bad fonts and worse user interface.
Half the things that had access with a click or 2, now I had to scrounge around for it---and a number of thngs I wanted wern't there.
The D/L window stinks as does the Incomplete File folder options
Hey I know it's free and I appreciate it greatly but geeez---what a mess---Too Much Too Soon to quote the NY Dolls LP name
went back to 4.18.8 and lost 95% of my incomplete files- thank you very much
