Hello,
I'm currently working on a project that involves modifying the LimeWire source code to enhance security. We are focusing on the malware that is circulated as infected files. I know there has been some work on identifying file sizes and types that indicate malware, but I would like to obtain as much information as I can on this topic. Our current idea is to run QueryReplies through a security class that ID's potential malware and marks it accordingly on the search results interface. If anyone has any suggestions or relevant resources, or knows about similar or identical work has been done, please let me know. PAUL |

You're better off posting at the LW forum: LimeWire Forums
You should get a response from a developer there
