I download ALOT of music off Limewire. Someone was telling me that if i have to many songs on my computer that i could get in trouble for copyright infringement. I really dont want to delete my files,i dont have something to download them to to get them off. if i leave them will i be at risk?

I think you already know the answer. That being said you would usually get some kind of copyright notice first.

Also it highly depends on what you feel is A LOT and if it's newer more popular stuff.

I have two sets of sharing preferences which I alternate. One shares about 8,500 files of various types. The other about 5,500 files mostly music.

You could always try to keep your shares below a certain number if you are concerned.
